What’s Matrimony Forever?
Silly, sanguine, sacred. The first online handle of mine that ever really stuck was Matrimony and it made sense - a girl with a passion for exalted love and sensuality that bled all over any creative pursuit she took on. The snow globe of ideas and images that the word matrimony encompasses for me manifests in the life I create for myself. It’s illustrated in the way I express through words, images, and environments.
What’s The Purest Song? A testament to the intrinsic role music has had in my life and my reverence for purity in the form of unbridled authenticity. The pursuit of uncorrupted and wholehearted being. A dear friend once told me, “I’ve always loved that clarity about you. Your desire to express love and be love.” I will take that compliment to my grave.
What’s Red Velvet? Luscious, feminine, vibrant. Need I say more?
That’s a lot of names for one bitch, I know. But the thing is that I have so much to say and give. I was convinced I had to pick it all apart to make myself palatable to more people. These different personas on social media were my way of doing that. They were all me - Matrimony. But one was tarot and one was poetry and one was my day to day life.
